Describe your riding set up (your rig/s) and why you have them set up that way.
X-small Norco A-line with 888ZF, Fox DHX 4.0 (Romic spring), e13 chain guide, Minion front, Nevegal back, pink Azonic bars.

What's your favorite event or venue and why?
Sea Otter 2005.  Didn't race due to injury, but raged the entire weekend.  Actually, riding there is fun, too.

What's the best time you have had riding your bike?
PV always.  The team is so positive and supportive.  Anytime I ride with those guys I have a blast and push myself.  Not to mention I do things some of the other guys won't try, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

What's the worst time you had riding your bike?
Super D in Mammoth on my nine-inch travel bike.  That licked balls.

What's the gnarliest thing you've ever pulled off?
15 foot drop in mammoth-dug-out gap drop in PV.  I have also walked away from some really gnarly crashes.  When I started riding I would follow the guys off of huge jumps having no working knowledge of how to jump.  This resulted in some miraculous crashes.

What's the worst crash you've had?
In Bootleg Canyon I endo-ed off a drop and attempted to roll, but instead landed on the back of my head, compressing my spine.  I heard everything crack and I lost feeling in my extremities for a few minutes.  I was sure I had paralyzed myself, but I was really just laying with my head downhill and upside-down so the blood was flowing the wrong way.  I got up, felt really buzzed, knew I had a pretty gnarly concussion.  I took a nap for an hour and hit it again.

Do you get nervous before a race? How do you prepare?
I shake in the gate.  I will take any and all advice (I have already experimented with altered states of consciousness!).

What do you do for fun besides ride bikes?
Barry.

What music do you like?
I live for chick music - Tracy Chapman, Dixie Chicks, Sarah MacLaughlin, but also love Bad Religion, Metallica, and Godsmack.  Country music does not suck, especially with songs like "Tequila makes her clothes fall off."

What's your occupation?
What's that?  You mean a J-O-B?  I am a career student and full-time financial aid recipient.

What kind of food do you like?
Burritos, taquitos, and tacos (with no meat, please).

Any advice you can provide up and coming racers?
Wear chest protectors even on wimpy courses and wash your socks and chonies at least every 5 rides (or once a month, which ever comes first).  Don't get [too] hammered the night before a race.

Anything else you would like to say?
There needs to be more ovarian representation at races.  Ladies, leave your man at home and get the fuck out here.  Men, don't think that just because you have testicles that you are better.  Oh no.  We can display some fine qualities associated with cojones.
