How long have you been into this bike madness?
Two years racing DH, one year on the 4X and dual slalom, and 12 or so years on BMX.

How did you get into racing?
I grew up racing BMX as a kid, got back into riding a few years back and gave racing DH a shot for fun with my old BMX buddies.  I got hooked and the rest is history.

Who is your favorite pro?
Bobby Burns 'cause he just rips, and he can style even off the littlest jumps.  Oh yeah, and he can pop a wheelie, too.

Describe your riding set up and why you have them set up that way.
Kona Dawg stock with e13 Dual Chain, EA70 bars, and short stem.  It feels like a BMX cruiser and is my trail bike, too.  Iron Horse SGS Team stock because it's all I can afford!

What's your favorite event or venue and why?
Northstar at Tahoe - the terrain is just plain sweet!  It's what DH is supposed to be.  Sea Otter is fun as well because it has to be the world's biggest race of the year.

What's the best time you've had riding your bike?
2005 US Nationals, nothing but good times.

What's the worst time you've had riding your bike?
Pushing up in 120 weather at Fontana.

What's the gnarliest thing you've ever pulled off?
Popping a wheelie off my curb.

What's the worst crash you've had?
Too many to count!

Do you get nervous before a race?
No, only on 4X and BMX, but not on DH or DS.

How do you prepare?
I don't.  I just ride and get what I get.

What do you do for fun besides ride bikes?
Play guitar and annoy Burns as much as I can.

What kind of music do you like?
All except that Rap music.

Okay, what's your favorite food or movie?
Old School because it's funny even after the 100th time!

What do you do to pay the bills?
Marketing Manager for Cingular Wireless.

Any advice you can provide up and coming racers?
Keep riding, don't be an arrogant ass, and ALWAYS remember:  you aren't that good; you can always learn from others.
